Nandikund Lake (Trek Guide)

Nandikund Lake is located at 4800metrs enroute of madmaheshwar temple in regions of garhwal himalaya trek is through up and down hills bolders.rocks zone, ridge we were having two clients from jaipur.rajastan we started to trek from ranshi village which is the last bus stop in this direction ranshi to madmaheshwar distance is16km trek goes through gaundar village first day we reached at madmaheshwar 2nd day we camped at kanchnital 3rd day at pandav sera this is an wide area this place is known by pandava.five brothers of mahabharta according to Indian mythology they came to this place cultivate their land in month of August we can see like paddy.rice growing itself in this land and there is an long canal also close to this land which made by pandava as said by people  4th day we camped at nandikund lake it was snowing but after in few moments stopped snowfall we got such amazing views i took holy bath in morning on lake then next day we crossed highest point on trail that called Ghiyavinayak top altitude is around 5200metrs located at 2.5km distance from nandikund.here is  trek totally through bolders.rocks from nandikund to Ghiyavinayak top even we can't recognise to trek where because of everywhere is same bolders in black colours then after this we spent night at small meadow which called Burma bugyal after this we go through an beautiful huge meadow manpaie bugyal where we saw hundreds of animals grazing on meadows but quickly they run away by afraid it took total 8days to do whole trek from ranshi village to madmaheshear temple to nandikund across Ghiyavinayak top till urgam village nearby.kaleprshwar temple(joshimath)
