  Madmaheshwar is one of temple in panch kedar-five kedar this is 2nd kedar after 1st kedarnath ji the five kedar-panch kedar is like this in order 1st kedarnath ji 2nd madmaheshwar ji 3rd tungnath ji 4rt rudranath ji 5th kalpeshwar mahadev near helang,joshimath the madmaheshwar trek starts from ranshi village which is 25km far from main town ukhimath in dis rudraprayag in indian state of uttarakhand ranshi village is reachable by vehicle through ukhimath town, and from rishikesh it takes ten hours arriving in ranshi village, this is 16km walk from ranshi village to madmaheshwar temple in beggining we go straight walk around two km and then we go down for gaundar village which is located at bank of madhu ganga from gaundar village to madmaheshwar is steep walk through zigzag walk nine km,madhu ganga,river come from right side of madmaheshwar mountain range of nandikund lake gaundar is an small village living hard working people they have not so much income sources depending on season when temple open so they open their shop in gaundar village and in route of madmaheshwar and at nearby temple madmaheshwar temple always open by late about after15th of may every year for six month mostly young people do job as guiding and porter job mostly are in contact with bangali people from west bengal,culcutta who come every year, through this village possible to do trek to nandikund lake4800metrs-across ghiyavinayak  top summit to uragam village neary by kalpeshwar mahadev it takes around eight days from ranshi village i have been last year in october with two nice client Mr Dinesh Sharma ji 60year old men and his young mate Arvind ji even possible to do trek panpatia col.glaciesr trek which starts from madmaheshwar temple but mostly people start it from ohter side from badrinath pilgrimage it takes around 11-12days reach in madmaheshwar temple panpaia is one of hard and toughest trek in garhwal himalaya probably naxt year im gonna do it about madmaheshwar tour this time i was having german tourists fater and son and their friend young men was is Yannik they were quite friendly all the way talking smiling with each other we discussed about lots of subjects they Scorpian was an old bend who do concert in international level which was hard rock im also listener of rock music they expected  again trek with me in himalaya someday the madmaheshwar temple is closing on 22nd of november this year 2017 people of gaundar have right to bring down image of god shiva in ukhimath temple which is winter seat when temple close they bring image of god shiva called Doli in ukhimath town in omakareshwar temple it takes four days arriving in ukhimath town by walk they bring god on shoulder without shoes its hard to walk without any sliiper or shoes when god shiva-.madmaheshwar arrive in ukhimath people celebrate and big.festival.fair called madmaheshwar mela people come from around villages women.children with huge crowd , from madmaheshwar temple 1.5km up located and beautiful meadow.called buda-madmaheshwar this is an paradise from where we can see imaging views of chaukhamba peak.mandani peak.and top of kedr peak we visit ted twice in which day we arrived in afternoon we climbed up but unfortunatlly we could not find clear views of peaks it was covered with clouds so came down and next morning i decided we will go in morning so next day we started it so early 5am when it was dark we saw everywhere white ground up in buda-madmaheshwar by frost so after we got so imaging views of peaks when it became sunrise on peaks and amaging reflection views on water  just its not looking much better because of not much snow on peaks because in some part of peaks we see dark because of not so much snow so in winter it looks totally white and we get imaging sunset and sunrise views!
